Biography
BJ joined Lifecare Homecare as a physiotherapist after graduating from Curtin University in 2026.
She has a strong interest in neurological conditions and brings a warm, supportive approach that helps client’s feel confident, understood, and actively involved in their rehabilitation.
During her studies, BJ gained experience across musculoskeletal physiotherapy, disability support, and stroke rehabilitation. One of the most formative parts of her training was completing a stroke‑rehab placement in Vietnam, where she worked closely with clients in resource‑limited settings. This experience strengthened her belief in the power of person‑centred care and taught her the importance of meeting each client exactly where they are — physically, emotionally, and functionally.
BJ is passionate about helping people stay active and independent as they age. She believes prevention is the best medicine and works in partnership with clients to build strength, improve mobility, and reduce the risk of future injury. Her calm communication style, patience, and ability to make rehabilitation feel achievable are qualities her clients consistently appreciate.
She is committed to enhancing quality of life, whether supporting someone through post‑injury recovery, managing a long‑term condition, or helping them maintain the confidence to keep doing the things they love.
Personal Interests
In her spare time, you will find BJ traveling, soaking up the sun on her paddle board, camping, reading, trying new things and participating in triathlons or obstacle courses.
